| TThe highlight of this show was when 10 cops piled into the show to see their boy Mr. D climb on the bar and play the pipes. That may have been a first at the Alaskan, and it was funny and strange when a dozen people quickly left as the cops came in. |

Juneau was having one hell of a snowstorm, and here we were, right in the middle of it trying to record! My only memory of that day was pounding myself to death, driving out to Wrino studio on a crappy snowy road only to find the recording engineer (Albert McDonnell) stuck in a snowy ditch! Things just went downhill from there. |

"What kind of look do we want?" "Urban decay." "Huh?" "Yeah, Southeast Alaskan celtic urban decay." It was either the stamp mill ruins or Treadwell. It was a beautiful day and too many tour buses downtown, so off to Treadwell we went. |

In the beginning the audio feedback was horrible. First we blamed it on the pipers, then the guitar, then the fiddle. It wasn't long before we realized that the whole band was just one big feedback monster! |
